California: Day 6

After dropping Josh off at W.B. I got to experience Western Bagel- gourmet bagels that blow anything in New England out of the water (sorry!) Boars head meats on an everything bagel- yes I'll take it. We regrouped after some naps and showers and headed back out toward Tujunga but this time for the mountains. Apparently we were headed for where Sons of Anarchy was primarily shot, as well as the original E.T. house. So cool! After picking up lunch from the Corsica Deli (delicious), we came to the Los Angeles National Forest. What a beautiful, deserted place. When we had enough, we headed back for Josh and went to the ultra-famous Griffith Park Observatory. This place has an incredible history and general points of interest, including the giant telescopes, a planetarium, science museum, and most notably the views of L.A. and the Hollywood sign. I had such a great trip! Thanks to Josh & Christa & Paul for letting us both stay with them! Six days went by too fast! Looking forward to the next.
