Chelsea & Roland are a laid back couple and had their wedding at the Point Breeze restaurant in Webster, Massachusetts. They asked me to be their photographer just a few months before the wedding - I love when things just work! I also love how Chelsea and all of her siblings are redheads…I swear that isn’t why they booked me.

They exchanged their vows in the courtyard overlooking Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg, or, Webster Lake for short. Yes, that’s a real name - and, fact, it’s the longest name of any location in the U.S.

The girls got ready at their family’s house. It turns out Mrs. Whitton is a gardener, and has many plants around the house. Great for rings!

Beautiful makeup by Bombchelle Beauty.

Once we got to the venue, it was time for the ceremony.

Love all the ‘little details’ from their day!!

Chelsea’s smile lights up any room!

October is a great month for weddings in New England - just love the leaves from the beginning of the season to the end.

One thing that was really different was that they had a live band! 9teen is an 8-person Rock & Soul band local to Central Massachusetts. They rocked and had everyone dancing all evening. I got the impression that music is something very important to both Chelsea and Roland, so this was a nice touch.

The first dance.

In my opinion, some moments are just better in black and white - like Chelsea having a laugh while dancing with her father.

Congratulations to you both!
