Danielle & Mike asked me to be their wedding photographer after seeing my photos from my cousin’s wedding last October. I was so happy they chose me, because I haven’t yet photographed a wedding in Rhode Island - until now!

Their wedding was a beautiful one, set right by the beach in Narragansett at the North Beach Clubhouse. I was lucky to visit this town a few times this year, once when I shot Danielle & Mike’s engagement photos, which was right here at the venue, and I spent a weekend exhibiting my artwork at the Narragansett Art Show by The Towers in June.

The day started with the bridesmaids and our bride getting ready at the Aqua Blue Hotel, and the groom and groomsmen arrived ready on the beach. I’m always looking for interesting props or colors, and the Aqua Blue delivered.

After some rooftop photos, we made our way to the venue. Danielle & Mike’s theme for their wedding was tandem biking, which is cute all on it’s own, but a number of the guests and members of the wedding party are active bicyclists.

Not everyone chooses a ‘theme,’ but when the couple puts in the effort and sticks with it, it is really adorable. You guys rocked it!

The ceremony was set outside on the deck of the clubhouse.

You could feel the love all around.

They did it!!!

If you’ve got a long veil, you can bet we’re going to take veil photos. It’s worth the second shooter just for these shots!

The first dance was in the tent on the deck.

Dinner, cake, and smores! Catering services provided by Cozy Caterers.

Danielle danced with her mother. There was not a dry eye in the room.

Jason Citrone of Music Mixers Entertainment is your go-to for Rhode Island DJs. He really rocked it!

I do a number of weddings each year, and I’m touched by each of them. Danielle’s family has suffered tragedy in the passings of immediate family members, and the very recent passing of her older brother. I know how hard and stressful weddings can be on a couple, and despite everything, these two really showed their love and reverence for each other, as well as their family members who are no longer with them.

Danielle & Mike, It’s obvious your family loves you both very much - congratulations, and a lifetime of happiness!
