It’s always such a blast getting to photograph a friend’s wedding!! I’ve known Kathryn for some years now, since we worked together back when I had a “real-person job” working as a research assistant in healthcare. Kathryn and Izzy have been together for a whole 10 years before finally tying the knot this past November, and I’m so glad I got to witness such an important day for them.

It was full of laughs, from beginning to end.

Flawless make-up and hair was provided by Ashley DeLacy, Kathryn’s own cousin. You can find her website here. Bridal party by Ali Lamazzo Beauty.

The girls all got ready in the bridal suite of the International Golf Club & Resort, which hosted the wedding.

It would not be Kathryn if something weird didn’t happen - like finding a big spider in your dress. (At least everyone was a good sport about it!)

The ceremony was held outside on the grounds.

It was heartfelt and intimate, and it was obvious these two were meant to be.

After the ceremony, I was able to whisk the newlyweds away on their trusty golf cart for some photos. Despite having to avoid flying golf balls and golfers, I am really happy with how these portraits turned out.

Kathryn you were just stunning!

I also love sunsets.

And partying.

The reception was a roarin’ good time, and after awhile I was able to put my camera down and partake in the festivities too! I think the bouquet toss pictures miiight be some of my favorite from the evening.

Congratulations Kathryn and Izzy - you two are meant for one another and I wish you the very best! Thank you for entrusting me with capturing your big day, and I hope you had as much fun as I did!
