I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Pauline & Jon for my first wedding "post-covid"! I was excited to do this one as they were having the wedding on the lawn of Pauline's mother's home. I adore backyard weddings!

Getting Ready

Jon and the groomsmen getting ready and looking dapper.

Pauline was looking incredible in her gown and veil. Love the lace and light here!

Family's all here and ready! Including the pup :)

For a front yard, this venue was really beautiful!

First Look

Pauline and Jon decided to have a "first look," where the bride and groom meet briefly for a quiet moment before the ceremony. This saves time on pictures later, and it also relieves a lot of those pre-wedding nerves.

The Ceremony

Pauline as her father walks her down the aisle. It was sweltering hot for June, but it was not going to damper this day.

Newlywed

The after-ceremony photos are my favorite! I love how you can see every detail in the dress. Everything just looks so gorgeous between the lacy train, the veil and that big beautiful bouquet.

I always encourage brides to go with the long veil so we can do photos like these! I love how intimate these shots are. You can just feel the love!

Reception

Beautiful place settings for guests under the tent in the backyard.

Provided and prepared by Silver Tie Servers and Table2Bars.

Toasts, & dinner!

How good does this cake look??

Pauline and Jon have large families, and they sure do cut a rug. This dance floor was always full and covered in dollar bills (yes, it was a Greek wedding!)

The Vendors

I always say thank you to the vendors who make weddings possible and make it the "best day of your life!"
